Saint David of Wales was born in 520 AD. Not a ton is known about him. We do know that he founded a lot of monasteries and was also a missionary. He live simply and some called him an extremist because he would only eat bread and veggies. And when he was working, he insisted on silence. They also called him Aquaticus because he didn’t drink beer like other monks. Later he went to a synod and was elected Bishop. He is the only canonized Saint from Wales.
